"One day you'll just be a memory for some people. Do your best to be a good one."
"So maybe that's part of what we have to deal with while we grow up. We have to deal with the heartbreaks, the drama, and the constant changes in fashion. Maybe our teenage years depend on who everyone wants us to be, not who we want to be. Maybe we never expected so much drama and so many friends lost that you thought would be there forever. Maybe we just need to chill out, and spend time figuring out who we want to be. Not what everyone wants us to be. Maybe we should sit down and focus on school and not on partying, since 10 years from now, what you did in school will matter. Not how many friends you had or what you did on your Friday nights. Maybe we should spend time with our grandparents, before we lose them. Maybe there are a lot of things we should do in these four years instead of crying over that one boy, and getting worked up about what that one girl said about you. Maybe, just maybe, we need to realize what will matter in the future, and that things will change."
"Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful, it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to improve everything."
