i'll never get my night back.

I've never hated UVU more in my life.
It's fine.
You think I could find one freakin gym.

All I wanted to do was watch him play.
Is that too much to ask for?

Obviously.

Instead I wasted my night walking around a stupid campus that I don't even go to.

And he left without even seeing me.

I was peeved.

goodbye march madness.

My family decided to fill out brackets this year for March Madness and whoever wins gets to choose where we go out to eat for dinner.
It was so much fun to follow the games and keep track of our scores..until all of our brackets got wrecked and we're completely done and the tournament isn't even over yet! Legitimately every single one of us is done.
Michael had Syracuse winning, my mom had Kansas, me and my older brother had Ohio St., my dad had Pitt., and my little brother had UNC.
So, as much as I like basketball, this is a goodbye to March Madness and getting anymore points this year.
(p.s. I won:))

my bracket.

the future.

I worry. a lot. It's kind of an issue. Today, I bombed my calculus test. It sucked. It was my fault too. I decided to spend the day at the basketball game instead of studying. kind of like what I'm going to do today instead of studying for my chemistry test. oh well though. I think it's worth it.
When I got home I told my mom that I bombed my test and she said, "Oh well, it's just a test." So true.
I also read a talk by Richard C. Edgley in the November 2010 Ensign. I was worrying about my future--about college, marriage, scholarships, missions--everything that I shouldn't be worrying about right now. What he said helped me. He said,
"Because of my faith, I approach the unknown, unseen, and unexplained with unquestioning assurance . . . And because of my faith--even in the seemingly worst of times--I recognize with peace and gratitude that in reality it is the best of times."

I need not worry. These are the best of times.

basketball season

Obviously, I'm not on the basketball team. Especially the boys basketball team. But sometimes I think I am. I kind of sort of like this boy on the team though so I act like I know everything and anything that has to do with basketball, even though secretly I know nothing except maybe that the orange ball with black lines that they use is called a basketball. Yesterday, I went to the Red & White games and I was actually there from 4:30 to 9:30 because the sweetest girl in my ward is on the girls freshmen team and I told her I would go and support her and then of course I had to be there for the three point contest and the boys Varsity game.
My little brother came with me. He's so great. He makes me laugh and he knows that I like to talk about boys way too much so he just listens and lets me talk.
We also sat by Michael's family. Honestly, they're some of the best people I have ever met in my whole life. I decided that if families were put in popularity groups, like we sometimes are at school, they would be a popular family. They're just SO cool like that. They let me talk to them about anything. Especially Michael's mom. She's such an amazing person that I feel so comfortable around her that I just want to sit and tell her everything about my life so that she can help me make it all better. I hope I can be that great of a listener when I'm a mom. Also, his sister. beautiful. beyond beautiful. I love boots and hats and you know what? She was wearing both last night and looked better than I ever could in them. I secretly wish we were best friends even though I'm like four years younger than her and she's married and way too cool for me. And his older brother Britt? For some reason we get along super well even though I think it bothers Michael sometimes.
Okay I wanted this blog post to be short. Of course, it's not though. Sorry. What I was really trying to get to this whole time was just this one thing. I'm super excited for basketball season to start. It makes me happy inside.

halloween

Okay i'm pretending like Saturday was Halloween because pretty much it was and I didn't really do anything today to make it special so here was my wonderful Halloween..
My parents decided to make doughnuts. It may be the best thing that ever happened to me. They were so good!
I also got to witness Tori's brilliant math skills while we tried to attempt our math homework
Then we all went to the UVU girl's basketball game :) (I sent Kaycee and Cyd Steve's love while I was there. hahaha)
Andrew and I like to be silly sometimes..
And I finally carved my pumpkin with Michael :)
