my eyes are tired.

but it's better than being confused.

the spirit told me to take a step back.
so i did.
and i didn't know it was preparing me for this.

my sister always has good advice.
especially when it's just us at intramural basketball games.

i'm thankful that my roommate follows the spirit.
even when it means giving me the room to myself in the middle of the night.
so that i can make those late night phone calls.

breaks from work that mean only five minutes to talk.
can sometimes change everything.

the spirit told me to reread a chapter from alma
about trusting the Lord.
and i've never needed that reminder more than now.

and when i took this picture.

i just liked the quote.
i didn't know it was what was going to get me through everything.

the Lord knows me better than i think.
He prepares me in just the way that I need.
and He always makes one of us strong
when the other needs a moment of weakness.
