dear mom,

i'm not sure that i can come up with the right words for this letter.
because i'm not really sure that there are words to explain how much your kids love you.
or explain how much everything you've done for us means.
i'm not even sure that we understand how much you love us.
maybe one day when we have our own kids we'll understand better.
and be even more grateful for everything that you've taught us and done for us.
but for now,
thank you for teaching me to love my Savior.
thank you for teaching me to be organized.
and to make lists to simplify my life.
thank you for teaching me how to cook.
and for always being there to answer my questions.
thank you for letting me sit and cry with you for hours.
thank you for never giving up on me
and for praying for me through everything.
thank you for understanding that some things i have to learn on my own.
even when they hurt me the most.
thank you for always being a phone call away while i'm at school.
and for being supportive of every decision i've decided to make.


happy birthday mom.
i love you.
and i hope life brings the best for you.
because you, more than anyone else i know, deserve it.
